Since 1995, ESREA’s Triennial Conferences have gathered scholars from Europe and beyond, to accompany the evolution of this scientific international community, establishing a diverse and rich intellectual agenda on adult and continuing education and learning, and encompassing themes as social participation, the controversial role of education in the ‘learning society’, the enhancement of research methodologies, and the role of gender, class, age, migration in shaping learning within a diverse society.

This Conference is hosted by the Department of Human Sciences for Education, a strong interdisciplinary department devoted to sustain pluralism and critical research on education.

This Conference happens in a very demanding moment for everybody. It is organised to be in presence, and celebrate human relationships and communication through our bodies, but we are ready to make other plans if the evolution of the pandemic will require it.
