We welcome the participation of PhD students at the Conference. Furthermore, we offer to PhD students and early career researchers:

• A pre-conference jointly organized by the PhD students of education and cultural anthropology at the Department of Human Sciences for Education.
• Bursaries from ESREA. Application for the bursary will be done at registration. To be able to apply, one needs to demonstrate the status of PhD student (e.g. upload a certification or a letter from their supervisor), be a member of ESREA (either individual or covered by institutional membership) and have a paper accepted for the main conference. More details will appear later in this page.
• Award for the best paper presented by a PhD student. The prize includes both guidance on how to get the paper published from an experienced scholar, and money. If you wish to have your paper considered for this prize you will have to apply when doing your registration.
